Try juices and water in the bottle… eventually he’ll want whatever you’re drinking. With my son I just told him that if he wants what mommy has then he’ll have to be a big boy and drink out of a sippy cup. Totally worked for me.

Potty training is harder with boys, but it’s pretty easy if you make it a game. I took a piece of cardboard and painted a dragon on it (not too evil looking) and put it behind the potty. I told my little Creid that it was his responsibility to “slay the dragon” by peeing in the potty. Worked for me.

try a pacifier, but when he’s 3 or 4 you’ll need to break him of that too.
doctors say juice in a bottle can lead to early cavities because of all the sugar. we always tried to make mealtimes at a consistent time. and these days i try to serve mine smaller portions, so that cleaning their plate is a realistic goal. for me, and my ex-wife, reverse pyschology was a wonderful thing. for example if you act like you’re trying to eat his food, it makes him want to not let you, and to eat it himself. with all that liquid, does your son have a lot of trouble waking up at night too, or wetting the bed? the book “solving your child’s sleep problems” by richard ferber was a great help to us.
rebel, that peeing on the dragon is priceless!

hahaha, that is so cute, my son was terrified of the potty. positive, positive, positive all the time. always rewarding when he uses the potty. very important.
