Severe Shoulder pain is killing me!

My shoulders have been hurting so much for the past year or two. My left one use to hurt when I was little, then went away. Now it is coming back to haunt me! I havn’t hurt it in any way. It espically gets bad when I go to work, such as carring large treys of food up and down stairs.
Sometimes the muscle feels like it is grinding to strech and my left arm feels immobilized. I’ve told my mom about it, but she doesn’t say anything.
Does anyone know what it going on? Anything would be appricated!

I am 15 years old and i have had the same problem for 4 or 5 years. Is there somthing stressing you out that is causing you to hold tesion there.
i relate to you though how sometimes you cant even lift your arm without having jolts of pain running up it or it just goes num and tingly.
this may sound dumb but streches do help. my family didnt do anything for my back up untill last month so that is 4 years i was living with that.

streches like tensing your shoulders while bringing them up hold for a few seconds, then relaxing them
shoulder rolls
the “K” strech
my favorite, is when you get a water noodle and lie flat on it so the noodle runs up your spine and lay like that for 5-20 minuetes a day. it allows your back and shoulders to get out of the same position they have been in all day. i thhought it wouldnt work that it sounds stupid but dont knock this one off right away it really does work, and you might have to do it for 2 or 3 days before you feel a difference.

Finally when i was coming home from school crying from the pain and when the teachers were wondering why i kept standing up in class or lying down *only when appropriate though* did my parents start to do anything.

For my i tryed physical therepy, that didnt work for me but it might work for you if your parents will give it a try…but just so you know when i went to physical thereipy most of what we did made my back worst

then what work for me was ciropractors and mesages really worked well but werent nesseceriy it just sped up the process. so that might be the key for you too.
note that insurance payed for majority of it.

please try to contact me if you want to learn more streches or just want to talk
