Why do so many people assume that your interests in these things define you as a person in any way?

People can know alot through your hobbies and your interests! they can determine how responsible you are in your life or how lazy, reckless or compassionate you are! YOu only love the things that touch your heart so they represent you!!

We have a very specific stance on homework, here. That is, we tell you to do your own work.

Why is it that so many of the people on this site are asking for help on simple homework assignments? I was under the impression that this site was for more…serious problems. If you need to know about Abraham Lincoln, LOOK IT UP and do a bit of research before crying to us. If you need to turn in a report, or write a paper, DO IT instead of pretenting you’ve looked everywhere for the information and can’t find it. Read what you’re supposed to read, write what you’re supposed to write, and do your own schoolwork. I, for one, don’t buy it for a second when you say that you can’t find it on your own. Go to google, wikipedia, or any other well-known scorce of information, and stop clogging this site with your laziness. If you need help with your parents, teachers, friends or even relationships, we’ll be here for you night and day; but stop expecting us to be your training wheels and do your own work on your own like everyone else. The odd person may now and then be too thick to realize your game, but do you really want to trust someone so obviously devoid of more than twelve functioning brain cells to do your homework? I should hope not. I appologise if I come accross as mean on this point, but I wake up every day to over 300 notices on this site, and nearly half of them are asking me about biographical information or the history of some event or another. Please, I implore you, stop it. It’s painfully obvious that you never tried to do it on your own, so why should we help you? If you don’t at least put forth something resembling effort, your grade really must not be that important to you. Yet you expect it to matter to us. If you need a tutor, this is the wrong place to look. If you really have tried, post the links to the sites you used to look. As for the rest of you, do your own work. It’s not funny, and it shows you to be innept at basic information gathering skills. Just do your work.

The point of this assignment is clearly to get YOUR opinion on the question. There is no right or wrong answer, your teacher wants you to use YOUR head to figure out what YOU think. If we help you beyond pointing that out, we’ve done the work for you, and you’ve learnt nothing.

Hey Bibble! Xeno is absolutely right! Now I’ll ask you to think of someone Good in your life and some one bad…and think of the movies and tv shows they both watch…there will be a huge difference… for example the one who watches Fight movies will tend to be violent either in actions or thoughts or answers! the one who watches a romantic drama will be compassionate, romantic etc…the one who watches educational programs will be very well educated and so on…like this, consider different people and different shows and you will know the effect of such things in the development of the personalities! I already helped you with half of teh essay!

Right, and what you post is even more telling because it is not a random sample like the ratings, it is you choosing how you want to be seen.

analyze this

I watch foreign films ( comedies mostly) , House (on dvd - i cant waste time sitting in front of telly and commercials) Kevin Smith & Chris Guest movies and Dirty Jobs - sports: horseracing - fave comedians are Dennis Miller and Al Franken ( ok - political satirist) but I have laughed at ron White ( Blue Collar comedy) just as hard

My fave performer : Elvis Presley (yes- i know he is dead and that he died fat dont care) , listen to gospel, Indigo Girls & Staind ( love Staind) mostly but have a penchant for soul blues & classical and occasionally get into 60s/70s peace rock mood

Most people just arent one dimensional ( i have some relatives that are - mostly in laws :-) )
