I am just putting this out there for anyone’s comments about how I think love should be and that first kiss.

Just read it and give me your input. Thanks everyone.. Its called that moment… Am I living in a dream world? Is this even reality?

That Moment

That moment when you kiss someone and everything around you becomes hazy and the only thing in focus is you and this person. And u realize that this person is the only person that you’re supposed to kiss for the rest of your life. And for one moment you get this amazing gift, and you want to laugh and u want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that it will go away at the same time.

do we really feel this way or has movies and books altered our thinking patterns to believing this is what it should be like…?

there is something to be said for attraction and pleasure … but the whole hazy, world disappearing thing?

and i agree with screaminglywonderful that there are probably more than one set of lips to make you feel this way if it is even a “real” feeling.

Yeah but..that kind of love doesnt last forever. you can still feel the same about people but you act differently…10years down the line with kids and puke everywhere…kisses arent always like that in reality. not forever anyway.

Yeah…love is…waking up next to your partner who is so ill they look like crap…no one would touch them with a barge pole.

and they try to give you a kiss…so you hit them with a pillow and tell them dream on. And still love each other 5mins later lol.

You ‘Moment’ is a nice expression of feelings. I am not sure what you were going for though, ? poetry. If you are writing this to the one you love than it is great. I think it is a bit transparent for mass enjoyment or publication.

LOL….its true though isnt it…love is being able to put up with someone and still not mind living with them hehe…or being able to argue and disagree but not fall out…non of the “im not your friend anymore” lol
