If you have dreams then to reach your goal could be a motivation for you. Be inspired, get the help of your friends, believe that you can do it.

Have you ever traveled? Just pick a place and go! Most likely you will have to do something to prepare for it.

My grad professor once said to me, “Pick something, anything, visualize yourself doing that thing in the future. Then work backwards to where you are today. Uknown to yourself, you’ve just made a plan.” Best advice I ever had.

Are you able to account the lack of motivation and difficulty reading to any particular occurrence or new behavior?

I feel you. Your answer is contained in your question: the word “do”. When you are stuck as you are, use your body to help your soul - do this through “doing” - or movement. Move. Create motion. At first, it doesn’t matter what the motion is, just move. Clean your room - take out the trash - go for a walk - move. Eventually, your spirit will move you toward doing the most helpful things for you. Good wishes to you, God bless you.

I suggest you eat some happy food, cheezecake… drink a pop. Then go play an MMORPG like WoW, Final Fantasy XI, or Lineage or Everquest!

Sounds like you’ve either worked your brain dry or
fail to realize why you do anything because you’re feeling tired on the inside but not in terms of sleepiness.
(All I can think of.)

You know what you should really do if you have time on your hands and you dont want to be the person you are right now. you should join an organization that helps people who have been been devestated by nature and natural cause. My teacher told me his story it was like yours but he joined this group called HOND and at the time they were helping gut the houses in New Orleans. He stayed for 8 and when it was his time to leave he was a changed person from everyone who was there. So you should try it, it just might be what your looking for to get you motivated about life again. You will also make some good friends in the process.

I have the same problem. There is no motivation for me to do anything either! But recently, I have started to pull out of my 9 year slump. I am not out completely though. Earlier this week I stopped over and Jenny Craig to get an idea of what they were all about and then signed up, but did not join until last night. I had to wait for my mom to go because she wanted to join with me. So, last night we ended up joining Jenny Craig, so today is my first Step in the right direction! I am excited about it. I need to loose weight and keep it off. I need to change my lifestyle too! I am just a little upset about not getting a chance to exercise this morning. I get off work late and heard you really should not exercise too late at night if you want it to be successful. My advice to you…take it slow. One step at a time. Something is better than nothing! The other thing I have noticed, I try to change too much too fast, then i do not stick with it. Once in a while you can find the will power and strength to keep up the goals, but usually it only last a few days. I am not going to freakout too much about not getting some of my goals done or started. I am just going to worry about getting this whole food routine down. Master one thing at a time, in the order or priorities. :o)

Lifes a *****, everything is tough but you know what, in the end how bad do you want to make something of yourself. If you really want to stop being lazy, you will force yourself to stop. If you want to get out of the state of mind you must work at it. NOTHING IS EASY, EVERYTHING COMES WITH HARD WORK AND YOU MUST BE IN IT TO WIN IT.
