hmmm, if you’re rebuilding a carburetor for the first time, i’d suggest buying a manual and talking to a mechanic. i have no idea, my dad could probably do it, he rebuilds q-jets pretty regularly. if your just on a budget, i’d say get an expert to do it or buy a rebuilt unit.

Buy a good rebuild kit, with detailed instruction and exploded view of the carb. Then get a decent manual for your car with ingition and car repair/data in it like Hayes. General tips, do the carb in one day so you remember what goes where, dont’ take anything apart you don’t need to, it’s a rochestor . . . don’t take the vacuum break off and think you can plug the hose it will never run right. Oh yeah and drain the fuel bowl before you take it off the car, of course.
