Para, I did not know you. And I did not know ‘Bell.
I did not read your previous posts, and when you said that you are stupid, I was almost prepared to accept that.

But then I read this post, invited by Lazy. Understanding nothing, I looked through the shouts for a while.
And I must say, you have a very good heart and you are not at all stupid!

My sincere wellwishings got to ‘bell and the girl, my thoughts are really with them! I have experienced situations, if not similar so at least resembling about their case. I know how terrible the results of bureaucracy and misfiring regulations can be.

There are things we can do, if not practical guidelines for the moment then at least help ‘Bell by showing her strong emotional support!

I am not familiar with the details of their case, and not with local laws and regulations. But I will be prepared to discuss it in general terms, at any time!

For those of you who do not know what this is about, Tink lost custody of her 8year old daughter on Friday, (the child is biologically her husband’s, but she has raised her) now instead of the child living with Tink she is living with the mother who has a history of abuse, which is why Tink and the child’s father had custody to begin with…. P-man wrote this post to help Tink.

the invitation is an honest call for someone who is in some sort of grieve or trouble of course slim is responding child of the fairies what is troubling you??

I am sorry about your situation and for the loss of something as precious as a young child. I know the child still lives, but think about how lucky she has been to have some one as caring as yourself to look after her for the amount of time she has spent with you as her mother.

The love and teachings you have given her so far will have an influence on her for the rest of her life. You have given all you have been able to, during a period that matters to a young person.

You are going to grieve for and about this loss. It is huge. Nothing I nor any one else says is going to remove this grief. Time itself will never heel it, the wound goes to deep. Time will however give you the chance to accept it.

If you want to put yourself on my friends list I will let you have my e-mail address so that you have another person to talk to.

I will be pleased to do as the (hairy man) paranoiaman says and send hope and all my good feelings your way, I am not religious but I do send all of my love and hope to you.

If I had some fairy dust I would send that as well.

tink: my thoughts are with you hun. this very situation often happens here in new zealand, as the maori people dont often officially adopt, but foster out children to relatives, and end up in all sorts of strife when the biological parent turns back up and takes off with the child.
