Gone!

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories were a cane,
I would walk right up to heaven
to bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say good bye,
you were gone before I knew it
and God only knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness,
and secret tears still flow..
what it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know : )

Thank you for your poem. Its beautiful and makes me think of my friend who is a missing person. I feel like you wrote it for him. Hope you don’t mind me sharing it with his daughter. I bet she feels this way. Creative people bring so much to us all. I thank you for your words they mean so much.

It hard to lose someone you love, I lost my mother last year in July. I still fell the lost just about everyday.
