well here’s my story…

it is very long, so bear with me.
Mystical Fox broke up with me, i was feeling kind of lonely and left behind…so i tried to go out with his brother, and then…this one’s the big one, last april my dad told me that he had a growth in his intestines and that he needed an operation to remove it. …i know this doesn’t sound very stressful but it was…meanwhile…just hear me out…he made it sound like he was dying or something like that. so i got all freaked out and all these random thoughts and images started pouring through my head like niagara falls. i was having hallucinations and delusions.

then i passed out and dislocated my c1c2(neck)so they put me in a helicopter and flew me to a medical hospital in oakland (kaiser)…this part is kind of a blurr for me because they gave me a lumbar puncture so i was basically knocked out.

let’s fast forward a bit so i don’t bore you all with all the technicalities……………………….

so then my parents put me in a mental hospital for all my psychological issues

more fast forwarding………………………………………………………… …………to the present time

so in august of 2007…my mental health worker put me in this treatment school for adolescents with psychological issues and violent behaviors.

and right now i am in the process of going back to public school…but my school administrators can’t seem to get it together and make time for an IEP meeting which i requested 3 weeks ago!

I got your shout, I have no advice about these issues. They all deal with decisions made by social or welfare workers.

It is they in the end that will make the discions about your future. Only a judge will be able to change the descions made.

There is I am afraid only one other way that I can see for you to go, that is to challange the descions made by your social/welfare workers directly with them.
You can always ask them to speed things up a bit. They tend to work slowly, because they have to follow set procedures.

Sorry I cant help more.

first, I am so sorry your having such a hard time. My sister in law has been just where you are, and she came out one of the best people I have ever known, so chin up.

That IEP is very important, so don’t let yourself fall through the cracks, you have to keep bugging them, that way, every thing is out on the table. I know sometimes if feels like the workers don’t care, but they usually do. They just normaly have a huge case load. There not perfect, but they can still help you. I’m glad to hear that your out and ready to go back to public school, that must mean the delusions and halucinations are being controlled or gone, so good job on that. If you ever need me, send me a shout, I am usually around every week day. I wish you well, remeber the people who have to work the hardest on themselves are the ones who turn out the best.
