So my best guy friend is a freaking doll and I love him.

And we’ve always been really close but all the sudden I really like him like I WANT him, he’s got red hair and a gorgeous smile and he makes me laugh more than anyone else. But he doesn’t know and he doesn’t like anyone else. I really want things to go well with him, but since he’s such a good friend I’m scared to “mess” with the way things are…I’m kinda scared of being rejected by him

Just try letting him know how you feel now, keep up your happiness and let him know you want to share even more happiness with him. :) You can tell how he feels by body language and if he’s ever shy looking into your eyes. Just be calm and patient and see if he hints back, use small tactis of flirtation, like eye contact, or smiling at him, or anything you may be able to think of. :)

Why don’t you just be obvious and drop obvious hints over and over again.

It’s telling him in a certain way, but it isn’t forcing the issue.

I think you should go ahead and tell him; if you think about it, you don’t really have to worry about the realtionship between you two changing, because things already aren’t the same. Besides, you’ll never know unless you try, right?

I did. I tried, in March and he didn’t feel the same way. And it was fine I wasn’t in love with him or anything but our friendship suffered for awhile. Now we’re closer than ever and I actually love helping him with his girl problems. But I guess it turns out that someone told him I was obsessive and needy and in love back in March or something even though it was JUST A CRUSH!! Now almost all of the guys I’m friends with who think they know me think I get easily obsessed and so they’re all afraid to talk to me cause they think I’ll think they’re flirting with me. Liking one of my best friends ruined my social life with everyone but him.
