nose …who knows…

I went to buy gas today, and the guy serving me (new to the west i;’m guessing as his english was really quite bad) was ‘giggling’, I went to the counter and said something friendly and he looked and giggled and giggled and looked, then said ‘your nose, your nose it is soooo….. long!.’
It was actually quite sweet and innocent, but WTF!!!
I know I’ve got a bit of a prominent nose, and happily live in denial that people are not thinking …god, she has got a big nose. (all thogh realistically they would be!)
My bubble of denial has burst and I feel crap…after initally feeling quite touched at this man being ‘enchanted/awestruck/bemused by my nose..such a unmoderated display of ……. is quite rare in hung up england!!!

What am I going to do….It is bloody long and pointy and abnormally shark fin like…!

I can deal with it so why can’t other people. I spoke to my partner and he felt sorry for me that this had happened. and THAT is what makes me feel crap. I just wanted to share a story about this very surreal moment in my day…..

How do I find a good surgeon, how much will it cost and how much time off work should I take…?

thanks crackthatwhip :-) i don’t feel ugly or not beautiful… i’m fairly content on the whole… I just get a bit fed up with my loooong nose because as confirmed today…it is what people normally see first….!!!

I’ve always admired good big noses. It’s a shame when someone tampers with them (surgically, you know). Be who you ARE. Flaunt it!!!!! :)

I had a great friend with a distinctive nose, and she got a face lift, including a Bo Derek generic nose. It was tragic. She was never the same.
