I need help getting emancipated..from my mother.

well first thign iv been researching alote and i know a friend whos parent is a lawyer so that may help me.
i just want to know if i can get emancipated with all of these reasons.
1.Shes almost never home
2.She has no food at home ever and expects me to buy my own stuff
3.She has called me worthless in the past and other verbal abuses
4.She is a heavy drinker and use to take shrooms
5.She has thrown objects at me
6.When ever i need something like a docters appoinment it usually takes her a week to get one or even try
7.Her ex boyfriends and all her boyfriendss have always tormented me and done bad things to me not like sexually but verbal and sometimes physical abuse
8.She never listens to what i have to say, like ive been doing the best i have in school and havent skipped and since i got late in one class she wants to ground me for 6 months.
9.She wants to send me to military school just because she thinks it will help me
10.She takes advice from people who arent even parents that have huge problems.

those reasons can be cause for emancipation as far as i know.

It certainly sounds like you have reasonable cause to want to separate yourself from your mother.

You don’t say how old you are, or how you will provide for yourself.

If you’re not able to be fully self-supporting, is there someone else more caring and responsible who might be willing to take you in? An aunt, a grandmother, an older sibling? What about a friend’s parents?

Another possibility is for you to try to persuade your mom to go to some kind of family counseling with you, perhaps in a group setting where she will be encouraged to understand and provide for your needs better. (Have you thought about writing to Dr. Phil?)

I wish you success in finding a healthier way to live.

Meanwhile, if you are a praying person, you might think about saying some prayers for your mom–it sounds like she really needs help and guidance. T.

Hello I am 15 years old and i would like to get emancipated from my mother, she been abusing me with words all the time, like leave the house i dont want you anymore, i am tired of you find a house and live by yourself, she is never home, and i have to cook by myself, take care of pets and trying to do homework, and i am tired of this live, i want to live by myself and find a job, i really need a help please help me
