Yeah, I’m thinking of doing that in a few months. Just as soon as I have enough money and a vague clue of where I’m going to.

I am runing all the time, since I was 17 years old. I packed up and moved to the USA, a year later, I moved back to Germany, and I moved around there a lot as well, after 2 years I moved to L.A. a year later I moved to MD, now I just wanna pack up and move back to NC, but I can’t at least not for the next 1.5 years, I SO wanna move.

I have lived a lot of places and I like to experience that, but I have in the past had a habit of running away from places thinking I would be happier someplace else…. but no matter where I live, I am still me… So a few years ago a friend told me to make sure that if I moved again I was moving towards something and not away from something… he meant if you are gonna move, decide where you might like to go, and start applying for jobs there etc, so if you actually do move you have something to move for… does that make sense?

It’s never a good feeling to feel trapped. So I suggest you try to figure out where you’d like to be and start taking steps to make that happen… don’t just pack-up, but get a plan and start moving toward that, and you might end up finding that you like where you are… you never know you might end up staying where you are, but visiting some place new…. the grass is often greener…

but what happens if you know where you wanna go, but its highly impossible to get there? like me, i wana move to nc, cuz i was happy the year i was there, and everytime i go there i feel as it couldnt get much better, sadly im just here in the states on a visa, which ends in the end of 09…so i know where i wanna “run” to but i keep runing pass it…

Why were you happy in NC? What was it about that year that made you so happy?
