How do I find cookies manually on Windows Vista?

? Last time I messed with my own comp it only had windows 98 on it I think. Anyways we bought it from a friend and I need to get those files erased but when I try typing it in on the comp search bar it says it is not accessible…. Can anyone help walk me thru it?
