well i love “Il Divo”, its like pop-opera . i dont know if you are into that lol.
lol i haven’t dabbled in opera at all… so i had no idea there were sub-genres. but i will surely check it out this pop-opera. thanks cami!
give us a hint? like..one thing you like at the moment? :)
well here are my charts on last.fm:
www.last.fm/user/logophobic
& right now i’ve been listening to a lot of boards of canada… but i really want something different. :) srsly anything haha
check it =) this stuff is awesome in my opinion
the kinks,kimya dawson,postal service,antsy pants,moldy peaches,buddy holly,bright eyes,mirah,the velvet underground,finger eleven,flogging molly….
and if all else fails.
bob marley is still a classicXD
i’m listening to regina specktor, elliot smith and joanna newsom atm. all kinda drifty wafty dreamy stuff! the shins are flavor of the month too.
a trick i found for finding new artists was to find a movie or show where you know you liked the music and get hold of the soundtrack…i discover a bunch of new artists like that :)

Opera is the nicest internet browser I’ve used. (I happen to have firefox running but only because I got tired of trying to make anything function right on this computer.)
Now about music. I’ve always thought that buying a marimba and taking it out into pleasant nature-lands and harmonizing to the melody of the birds, wind and distand traffic would be a nice sounding music. Try it and let me know.

i have a recorder from second grade still in this apt. think that could work?
..about the recorder though, here is what hafiz says (according to The Gift)…
“I am
a hole in a flute
that the Christ’s breath moves
through–
listen to this
music!”
Nothing wrong with a little Jefferson Starship’s “Jane”, and the Dooby Brothers “What a fool believes”. Oh and get “No One’s Gonna Love you” from Band Of Horses
recorder+harmonica+birds= hm… i think we may need a baseline. but i’ll find someone with a deep voice. this could work.
hahaa try to look for english lyrics from them. i like a song called “Mama”.

Michael, I agree. & Cami, I will do that now!
