Why as soon as you go on holiday, or somebody from another country bad names your country, you become so patriotic?

I don’t like England for a number of reasons, but as soon as somebody bad mouths it, i get all Grrrrr lol

dunno I usually agree with them, but there are certain things I wont tolerate, for example, if anyone, bar russians claims they can drink us under the table.
