Hey guys, I need help.

I put some songs from limewire and some cd’s on my mp3 player. I can find the limewire songs easily but the cd’s seem to be missing. They’re on the mp3 player but they don’t show up on the list on the computer. I have it set in msc mode and the windows media player doesn’t help me either. Please, if anybody can, help me.

Hey,

The only songs that will show up on your computer’s playlist are those songs that are actually saved to your computer.

- Your mp3s are saved onto your computer
- The CDs were just CDs that you inserted and copied to your mp3 player, but my guess is that these were never saved to your computer. This would also explain why the CD songs are showing up on your mp3 player only.

Hey, it’s hard to advise without being sat there in front of it.
Okay…do you have automatic syncing enabled? If so, take it off and see what happens:
In iTunes, go to ‘Edit’, then ‘Preferences’, then ‘Syncing’ tab. In here, unselect ‘Disable automatic syncing for iPods and iPhones’

Now, you should be able to manually import songs to your library. Go to ‘File’, then ‘Add folder to library’ and then browse for where your CD songs are stored and select them. If ‘Add folder’ doesn’t work, then instead select ‘Add File’ and do them one-by-one. This should move them to, and make them visible in your library.

Hope this helps!
