I’m using a couple recovery disks that came with my

laptop; however, it’s been 5 hours of switching between disk 1 and disk 2, and it’s still not finished recovering. What gives?

well that all depends on what happened to your computer I am a tech aid at my high school and when a computer crashes we generally ghost the computer but to recover information from a comp that is crashed you may want to take it to geek squad. I don’t do recovery ( mainly because I don’t have the clearance to do so) but take it to geek squad and see what they say
if you are just tring to reinstall your OS I can help you there so if that is the case shout at me and i will help you thru it
