I am in need of some HELP

Does anyone know about how much a family lawyer will cost me (roughly)?
And this is in a small town of Danville, Virginia.

Most will charge $100 to have a consultation (gives you about an 45m-1hour to discuss your problem). Some will not charge you until they know what it is you need them for. Call as many as you can on the phone to ask what their policy is, you will be supprised at what you can learn on the phone.

You may want to contact your local St. Vincent De Paul. In the town I used to live in, they had one night a week where lawyers would meet with people who were low on cash and give them free legal advise. They won’t necessarily go to court for you but they might help you look for an affordable lawyer and also tell you lots of other useful info.
