Help help: i am installing a program on my comp but the installer tells - Help.com

i am installing a program on my comp but the installer tells me to uninstall the older version first…

.however the program does’nt show up in my control panel…..how do i remove th program????

few things you could try
1. find the .exe and all the files related to the program by using search- All files and folders and typing in the file name
2.check the start menu for the program and see if there is a uninstall option.
3. boot windows up in safe mode and see if it shows up in the control panel.
