I’m a really jealous type of a person.

I may not show it very well but I am. How do i break myself from being a jealous person, especially towards other girls who could potentially steal the guy I like…

Confidence always wins. Traits of jealousy tend to be control and being argumentive. All that is going to do is make people run.

Yep the two go hand in hand. I used to have low self-esteem and men always caused it. Once I became a huge bytch, suddenly, my career took off, men respected me, and life got great. Granted no one will date me now and I have almost no friends, but I am happy!

jealousy is a destructive emotion. it will mess you up inside if you let it. i have experienced jealousy in my life. all you can do is express your love more to whoever you are with (in a non-degrading or hurtful way) and if that doesn’t work …let go and move on.

wow great advice and a lot of people opening up to you. Jelousy is usually due to a feelings of insecurity. you don;t think your good enough so he will leave so why are you with him? I think once you get secure and happy with your self the way you are you will stop being so jelous.
I am 10 lbs over weight, have given birth to 4 children I am pretty but I am not 36-24-36 any more. My husband is GORGEOUs think brad pitt with dark hair and he gets hit on all the time sometimes right in fromt of me. I am not threatened nor jelous…..

how pathetic is the woman who hits on a married man??? How pathetic is a married man who cheats on his wife??? I am secure in my self and my marriage that I know he is not going any where. and should god forbid that ever happen i knw that it would be his problem and his insecurities that led him down that path and not me. i am a damb good catch a terrific mother and in a great relationship with a good man. we respect one another and we are totally honest with each otehr I think t hat helps too.

sorry got interupted by one of the kiddos… one of the things my husband loves about me is that I am not a “needy” chick. If he isn;t home I am not sitting at home caling mopping wondering I am out having my own fun either with kids or with out. He knows that if he were to ever f$%^& up i would be gone… if that means to be destitute for a few years before gtting back on my feet so be it i am fine with what ever the universe gives me and I am confident enough to over come it all.

When we were dating I was open and honest with him about what I wanted in a man and I flat out said to him ” this is what I want and if oua re not that I respect you for who youa re but lets not waiste time together I am not into changing any one and I am not going to waite time trying and I respect you as an ndividual that if youa re not what I want and need then please respect me and dont; come back” 12 years later still going strong…. so my advice drop the neediness you do not need a man and once you are your wn person and confident in who you are and in your own skin you will see your relationships with men become much better and there isn;t all that jelousy.

remember this if he does date this girl it really in the big picture does not mean a thing. Sometimes you have to date a lot of different people to know what you really want out of someone. and you are right what ever is going to happen is going to happen- who knows if he becomes “unavaiable” maybe the right guy for you at this time will suddenly jump out of the shadows. I think you sound like you have a handle on it now.
