BSL sucks.
BSL stands for breed specific legislation. Basically, its banning certain breeds that are “dangerous” The only problem is, it’s no the dogs fault. Its the person. The person who owns that dog that attacks a person should have trained it, or fenced it in, or maybe not have even gotten the dog in the first place. Everyone is always spazzing when thye hear about a pitbull or rottweiler. What about other dogs? There are more bites by cocker spaniels than pit bulls each year. Pit bulls have a rep though that makes everyone point a finger at them. BSL is stupid and they’re trying to make it happen. If this law passes, millions of innocent dogs are going to be killed. Why don’t we ban people that are dangerous? Oh wait, thats not fair…humans are the TOP SPIECES. We have done more things wrong then biting someone. Then we get the news involved. The report it, blow it out of porportion and make it into this huge deal. Now, dogs that look like pit bulls or rottweilers or chows or akita or malamutes are going to get banned too. Or a harmless family pet that has done absolutely nothing wrong are going to be banned too. Now I ask you, whats next? Banning FISH?!?!?!?!?
