The only starter guitar I ever got was a Fender Telecaster.


I still use it today, recordings, live, etc… I could buy a new one but dang this thing sounds and performs great and I could buy another but still i like this thing.

Fender teles are kind of like the universal guitar to get you started; in between the light shredding Ibanez, heavy sounding Gibsons.
