Solo music needed, again.
So my coaches think that my music from the movie Transformers isn’t dramatic enough. I need something similar to Rhapsody in Blue. It has to be 3:30 min long with variations in volume and changes in the music so that it isn’t the same thing over and over and over. (and over). Anybody got an suggestions? I’m disparate!!!!!!!!!
By the way, its for synchronized swimming.

wow that is quite a challenge! Rhapsody in Blue is amazing and changes so much! not sure if I could find anything to match that. Gonna look any way thou :D love music - bass player (when I want to be - really should start practising again LOL)
Im assuming you want some thing quite modern (Transformers) but can it have words? or is there some kinda rule against that?
Do something from Vivaldi. Summer first movement or third. Winter second movement.
It can have words but its preferred that it doesn’t have words because it is very hard to interpret the words into synchronized swimming. If it does have words its better to not have very many.
not quite wot your looking for but still very moving and passionate :D too many words I think. Im looking for some thing modern but with that classic twist. Hope this is all giving you food for thou :D

Deleted Dit’z reply at her request. She didn’t realize it showed more gore than she had originally anticipated.
But seriously, look up the intro song for Final Fantasy VIII. Great tension on that song, and though it has “words” I think it would fit well in a swimming comp.
wow - sorry about that clip. Hope it didnt upset any body. I wasnt really looking at the video - more so listening to the music :S but if your interested it was the music from Silent Hill by Clint Mansell :)
Screw it. What about this song?

Thank you Ditzy, I think I need to steal your name. :o)
pig bag-pappas got a brand new pig bag..its quite old tho (82 i think)
I’ve swam to techno classical music, which is rather up-beat (although, it was a duet.)
I swam to superhero music also (trio.)
The ever so classic, swing music.
And this year, strictly ballroom (duet), nightmare before christmas (trio), and some russian music… no clue where from.
nightmare before christmas is really fun though.
you can be serious, then creepy, then happy.
it’s just all over the place.
i like it.
hope this helped!
(e-mail me if you need anything. i’m also doing a solo this year and would like some ideas.)
