I have bought a VOIP phone from **** Smith model dse f7059 for use with skype.

I am having problems connecting it to my system. It sometimes connects to the pc but more often will not connect. i have power to the phone through the usb port as the display activates, but it is shown as not being connected even though plugged into the usb port. I have tried other usb ports on the pc but no improvement. I have also had same trouble connecting a laser mp3 player yet my creative mp3 player and usb flashdrives connect perfectly every time. I have reinstalled latest skypemate version but no luck.
