Darn, this is my language in school..lI just can’t understand much of anything yet, glad to see I can come here for help though, well at elast this looks like Latin.
Nescio qui scribo…salve, amice?
(I bet nothing agrees correctly, heh. My 4th year of Latin schooling and this is what I have to show for it.)
Ok, the things I know off the top of my head without really having to conjugate or anything like that are
Quis est tata tuus and Semper Ubi Sub Ubi…lol

Four years and you “don’t know what you write”? Ouch. I’m just finishing my first year. Anyone use Wheelock’s Latin?
Sorry, I have the Latin for Americans’ text book.
Wheelock’s Latin meaning a text book right, or a program?

text book, its pretty good.
I like the Latin for Americans…well I’ve neve rsued a defferent one though, so I can’ts ay much. This is my teacher’s fourth year teaching Latin so no use asking him about other text books since this is the one he used the entire time…although he did take a lot of Latin in college, but still not the point. :)
Et tu Brutus?
at you Brutus? Is that what the question is? Sorry I really suck at Latin.
Shakespeare. 0_o
ok, what’s the translation though “and you Brutus?” is that what it means?
Cesar was murdered by a bunch of political people, but he was the most surprised when one of them was Brutus. He thought he could trust him, so in the play Shakespeare wrote “you too, Brutus?”
Or Caesar, whichever you please.
the quote is “Et tu, Brute?” and it means “And you, Brutus?”
Brutus and Caesar were very close and some believe that Brutus was actually Caesars son. Brutus’s mother had a long affair with Caesar and the ties were close. Thus Brutus’s involvement would have shocked Caesar.
sweeti translated it correctly…lol, I remember that now though.
just a bit…lol…:))
:( ’tis true.
because me ______ me _______? I don’t know darn, my abilities are small when it comes to Latin.
OMG!!!! its like a dif language or sumthing!!
semper ubi sub ubi
always where under where (wrong “wear” but we don’t care in my latin class…lol it sounds better that way :))
Semper Ubi…, Carpe Nocturnum and Carpe Diem, Semper Fidelis, Semper Paratus and Sic Semper Tyrannis. The only Latin I know.
semper fidelus. Rigor mortis. mortum sanctorum.
Oh and I can’t remember this totally correctly so I know I’m going to slaughter it…
Gladio et tarde interfriciam.
I kill you slowly with a sword.
