Punch someone else in the jaw?

Actually, put yourself in a time out chair–metaphorically speaking, of course. Get away from the situation for a while…and hopefully with time comes perspective.

Yeah. I know it will take time. Fortunately the situation that is making me so angry I am separated from and will be. Might make it easier, I don’t know.

I realize that this is easy to say and tough to do, but can you make a conscious decision to let it go? Or, perhaps, engage in some activity that completely absorbs you? In some ways, trying to get over it by thinking about it is impossible…the more you think about it, the angrier you get!

Gimli- I know dwelling is only going to make it worse and make me even more bitter.

I’m trying to stay occupied and keep my mind busy. It’s just all so fresh right now, I guess I need accept that I’m going to be angry for a little while and eventually get over it.

How do you get over anger?

Especially when you have no right to be angry? The anger is just stemming from being hurt by someone, but I am just completely enraged. And I don’t know why. And really have no right. I want to crack them right in the f-ing jaw!! GRRRAAAAHHHHH!!!!
