I need help with my health.

Ive been having a really bad headach for the past couple of weeks. i took some medacine but it didnt help. and this morning i was sitting on the couch and my heart started pounding so hard that i could feel it in my throat. does anyone know of a cause for a hard rapid heartbeat?

There can be many causes. Go to the doctor so he/she can run some tests.

A lot of times certain symptoms mimic conditions that may or may not be serious. Being someone who isn’t a doctor and cannot give you the proper blood tests or examination I can’t tell much from relating your symptoms to the Mayo Clinic or Merck Manual. I would suggest check in with a doctor, not just to help diagnose and treat the condition, but to give you peace of mind or relief in knowing what is going on. It could be anything from a nerve condition in your back and neck to a migraine headache or even stress related anxiety. As jcd just suggested check in with your doctor.

My sister had re-occuring headaches. She went to the doctor and he told her that she had an enlarged heart from high blood pressure.
Go to your doctor and get a check up.
