I like gravity, most of the time.

It would be fun to turn gravity off for a few minutes.

I would love to just float about.

I have always dreamed of being able to fly like a eagle and look down on the world below.

The closest I have ever got to it is when I once went in a trip in a hot air balloon.

That is a experience I recommend to anyone.

The thought of heading towards the ground at over at great speed is not that appeling to me.

Sorry if god wanted me to jump out of a aeroplane that is in good working order, he would of given me wings.

Um, you kind of do. Otherwise you wouldn’t be orbiting the sun that provides lovely energy for plants, and you wouldn’t have any air as all the gas molecules would have abandoned the planet, and none of the beautiful nebulae would hold together, and neither would our planet and life would generally be a little bit rubbish.
What don’t you like about it? You having some issues in understanding the subject? If you are I’d be happy to give you some help, as physics really is a fantastically interesting subject if you give it half a chance.

I say, who needs Newtonian physics. Move over Isaac, Lets teach Quantum Mechanics.

Hear hear! Way more interesting, potentially more confusing, but rather awesome with it.

Without Newtonian physics, we would not have even the slightest idea that concepts such as Quantum Mechanics existed!

And without Bob Dylan, modern rock wouldn’t exist, doesn’t mean that I have to listen to him.

It’s a little bit more complex than that. Though, I suppose you don’t HAVE to know Newtonian physics in order to appreciate Quantum Mechanics. It’ll be perplexing beyond belief, but possible. Then again, Quantum Physics is already perplexing so I suppose it wouldn’t matter :)

Well quantum physics contains newtonian physics, Newtonion physics is a blurred version of quantum that has been generalized. So you could totally solve any classical physics problem with quantum mechanics. And it would be far more precise an answer (although calculating the wavelength of a baseball would be a pain!)
