life help: I can’t seem to hold a job in anything. - Help.com

I can’t seem to hold a job in anything.

I am not someone who wants to work in an office, although I have the skill, I don’t want to unless I am more in a lead role. I tried working at different companies but I was in a low level and over qualified. Unfortuantely I didn’t work enough to be noticed and promoted. I walked out. However i knew all along it was a lie because i felt unexpressed in such an environment. I am more of an artist and want to be in a place where I am seen more for who i am and not for my copying skills. I am now looking for other ways ot earn a living in a more creative way. I was interested in hearing your ideas….

I feel very similar. I am working on temporary contracts at the moment. It seems to suit me well because i don’t fell caught up in office politics. Employers also appreciate your skills as alot of temp workers are not ‘great’!

Work from home instead. You can try freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years
