FATE?

a freind of mine returned from Kandahar (afghanistan) today, hese a kind of fatalistic type of guy, he brought back a memento.

He makes a lot of his decisions based upon the flip of a coin (i once had to drag him out of the river dee because a coin toss told him it was a short cut) anyhoo…

He was on his third tour and after being dropped at the LZ he declared to all around that he figured he might not make it back, he had had a bad dream and wanted all the guys in his squad to avoid him for a bit.
To ease his mind he decided to flip a coin heads he was going to make it tails he was fooked.
He flipped the coin and a sniper bullet nearly ripped his helmet off.
The coin landed heads….. with a dent.

so was that fate or the kuckiest thing ever to happen to anyone anywhere..hehe
