I agree he may feel happy to give you the money, like he is spending it in the right ways.

If you need the money, you can tell him why you need it and that is why you are taking it

Exactly. If you refused the money, he might take it the wrong way and think he’s done something wrong by offering his birthday money to his big sister.

Also, remember that his money is part of his gift, so by paying you for something, he’s just using it for his present, which is really very sweet when you think about it. He sounds like a cooler younger brother. I hope to have a son like that some day!
