I recommend George Harrison’s live “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” from the Concert for Bangladesh. If I’m not mistaken, Eric Clapton played lead guitar on the track.
Wow,I didn’t know Eric played lead guitar.
I’ll have to check that out, Thank you!=)
He, George Harrison, and Peter Frampton were all buddies in the 70’s, I believe. I saw Frampton actually cover the song this summer at the Summerfest concert in Milwaukee, WI. He could give Clapton a run for his money, which says quite a bit.
Most of the one’s in across the universe
i was surprised at how good the covers were in across the universe. i dont usually like covers… especially of the beatels.
Yeah, its often not realized but Eric Clapton did play on it. (The version from the Concert for Bangladesh is awesome. I also highly recomend the Jeff Healey Band’s cover of it.)
A few of my favorites are Don’t Let Me Down, Hey Bulldog, Here Comes The Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
