Someone please tell me how good a chance he stands please?

My moms boyfriend had a heart attack on Saturday. He ended up needing to have a triple bypass. This was done on Thursday. He was doing well, so well they moved him out of the CVICU sooner than most patients (according to them). Yesterday he came down with a fever and today pneumonia. If there is someone out there who has been through this, or knows REAL facts about this… can someone please tell me if he has a high chance of getting over the pneumonia and recovering well? I’m trying Google now but not getting much. He’s 50, by the way. I don’t know if his age makes any difference…

I’m sorry, I don’t have any info on this. I just wanted to say how sorry I am. Be strong. Be there for your Mum and let her be there for you.
