Why do you feel lonely? Do you have friends? or do you not have any/many?

What do you mean nerdier? Is that really why you don’t like them? Or is it the way you get on with them?

I don’t mean to sound patronising. But just concentrate on whats happening, not what could happen.

You shouldn’t ditch your friends just because they are boring. They were still there for you. They may even find you boring!

If you are not compatable with them then fair enough. You need to meet new people. The best way to meet people is to join some sort of class or club doing something you enjoy. Everyone else is there because they enjoy it too. So you are finding people with the same interests. And thats also an easy topic to start a conversation with them.
