I agree, if you are so in love with her that you’re in pain - then tell her how you feel and ask her out. She might feel the same and love that started as friendship can be one of the best kind. You already know a lot about each other. If you doesn’t feel the same, you’re better off figuring out sooner than later whether you can accept that. The longer you hold on to a love that doesn’t love you, the more pain you get. Plus if you hold on to someone and refuse to let go, you’re going to miss an opportunity when someone who is willing/able to love you comes along.

Tell her and see what happens - or walk away. You’ll be better off in the long run. It is also hard to watch someone you’re crazy about be crazy about someone else.
