a good rule of thumb is to never use things that don’t cite information themselves because they probably aren’t terribly trustworthy. if you need help with a specific site trying to figure out how to cite it, however, I’ll see what I can do

use .org sites if your going to cite web pages.
As a science student i dont cite websites much but if i do i would cite the Name of the site, a link to the site and with veiwed on data and time.

so:

Websites

Help.com, http://help.com/post/136605-need-smar…, 22:54 24/02/2008

what grade are you in? In higher grades you will neeed APA format which requires date of information gathering, author of site ect. If there is no requirement just put the URL as murphy stated.
