That is getting your self worth from the outside instead of the inside. Still it sucks when someone speaks about how you are not worthy for any reason. I’m sorry people are treating you this way. It hurts. Face the hurt and learn to get past it. It’s difficult. Mental health is the ability to be present and whole in the moment.

Eat less, be more active. Have a balanced diet. Skip a meal. You could try fasting too, as long as you don’t follow up with a binge.

Love yourself where you are and you’ll take care of yourself. If you hate yourself you wont take care of yourself. THis isn’t easy. It is the only way I can do it. I am losing weight now and I do it by loving myself.

exercise wise you need to get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes a day. that’s just a minimum.
then add in something small, something toning. like lifting weights or the elliptical for 15 minutes three times a week.
you can work up to (and at some point you should be) doing full on exercise 4 times a week.
alternate too. do kickboxing one day, then swimming the next.
you also need to get a pedometer. 10,000 steps a day baby.
the obvious food things, stay away from complex sugars and obviously bad for you foods.
eat whole grain, and low fat.
small frequent meals through out the day and drink waterwaterwater!
watch your beverage intake, a lot of hidden calories in there.
and also watch portion sizes, just read the box yeah?
oh and;
serve your food buffet style.
you can only have one serving of carbs per meal and 6 total in a day
eat as many vegetables as you want but try for at least 5.
fruits: you can only have three a day.
you can get seconds of meat if you’re still hungry. but ONLY if you’ve had another serving of veggies in between. (7 proteins total)
2 dairies a day and 1 multi vitamin + 2 servings of calcium
um never eat in front of the t.v.
always eat breakfast.
and most of all…just go seen a dietician!
this is also something the people at the “healthy for life” clinic told me.
small goals. little things add up. you have to go slow and steady.
btw.
fad diets don’t work.
also counting calories gets really tricky.
get a lot of sleep, that’s really important.
ah one more thing.
don’t starve yourself.
it makes you retain the fat, not lose it.

but most of all; GOODLUCK
=D

Be happy with who you are first. Lots of skinny people are unhappy too. For me a skinny girl who hates herself is much less attrative than a plump one who is fun to be around. Besides we are all fat and skinny at some point in our lives.

YOU Kick A** Issy! Great advice there! I have been dieting my whole life…and there is only one true way to stay thin…don’t eat more calories than you’re burning…plain and simple. Eat right, and exercise! I do take diet pills however, to kinda curb my craving…Green Tea seems to help…

hi im sure your a gorgeous person but not being happy with your body is not a nice feeling i know i hate it
for the last 2 yrs i have been on & off diets but i have found 1 that wasnt that hard to stick to im from australia & have told that this diet is pretty close to some atkins thing that is popular like everywhere anyway no bread potatoes pumpkin rockmelon watermelon, 1 serve of protein a day( eggs fish chicken….)
3 or more cups of vegies a day
2 peices of fruit & anything else no more than 5grams of carbs per 100 gram serve
drink diet or sugar free drinks u can but low carb ice cream 1 scoop is equivalant to 1 peice of fruit so that a nice treat every now & then
hope this helps a little & good luck

Of course there is dieting and things… But at the end of the day one day you fill find a boy who loves you for you… And will think you are gorgeous and will always remind you! There is always some one special.
Weight is such a trivial thing.
Dont let it get you down

The sad thing is our society has placed so much pressure on us all to being perfect in form, dress, and looks. Let’s blame MTV! It is just one of many avenues that have done a great job in reducing the value young and old alike tend to hold for themselves; bigger breasts, anti-aging products, diet pills, hair loss formulas, acne creams, etc. We are literally bombarded with persuasive advertising telling us what we have to look like. Granted we all have a need to “fit in,” to belong, to be liked, to look good, but not at the cost of losing ones own integrity.

Self-hatred is Self-sabotage. Change the things you dislike about yourself and accept the things you cannot change. Self-love is the greatest gift anyone can ever give themselves.

One day at a time sweetie…One day at a time.

Perhaps your mental health is affecting your weight and not vice versa.
Both fixable situations for the most part. If there were no such thing as dating, marriage etc. What would make you happy and content with yourself?

Then get a different mirror……
For every rotten thing you say about yourself you must say two nice things…
Its a start in changing an old, run-down mental tape.

Reduce your junk food intake and stick to wholesome foods such as fruits and vegetables. Imagine your body as the machine to burn your weight and actually perform the workouts.

Do not plan dieting because it is not a solution for a longer duration. You can easily feel tired by following a particular diet pattern for a shorter duration. It reduces your rate of metabolism by draining away the water content and retaining the fat content.

Schedule an exercise program almost daily and gradually increase your workout. Reduce one spicy meal in a week and work towards healthy meal consumption.
