Think about what fear does for you. How it makes you feel. Situations where you have overcome fear and how you felt and what you had to go through to come out on top. Just think about fear.

Thesis — state something you would like to prove
“Fear is something we all overcome eventually”

Scope — State the scope of your argument..this is a good place for a quotation.
“We will define fear as”

Argument — Make the case for you thesis
“Since this then that QED etc”

Conclusion — Sum up your proven thesis, and end with a final thought, something clever.
“This is what I have shown and how. Look at how clever I am!”

If you’re gonna write an essay about fear write an introduction about everyone having certain fears (afraid of rodents, heights, etc) then break the essay into paragraphs about how fear affects people, how it can even motivate people, what some do to overcome it, how some allow fear to control their lives……These are just a few examples.

after 9/11 the American people are suffering from a generalized fear.
They think that the source of that fear is terrorism.
While it appears on the surface to be terrorism its root source
is actually a world stress caused by the United States
consumption of two thirds of the world’s resources
by only 5% of the worlds population.
United States must recognize its own internal goodwill and open
it’s hart in a general way and try to solve some of the world’s
major problems.By doing this the United States and the world
will create together a more friendly world in which everyone
can live together. This will ultimately reduce hopefully
to zero the generalized fear that now exists.
