Hopefully by the time they are older there will be more and better cures for it. A lot of improvement and understanding of it has been achieved, there is no reason to believe that this trend will not continue.

yah. hope so. its really not helping her out motivation wise. really depressing her. shes stopped eating again. she was doing so well. :(
bah. sometimes i hate being the only one i know who is ok. i feel guilty.

Tell her to start looking up about stem cell research This is one I picked rondomly http://www.iscr.ed.ac.uk/ this will soon be the way that these type of illnesess are cured.
Not eating will cause any number of illness problems. Some of them very painful.

You could also tell her to become part of this very useful medical science and help to fight these kind of deseases. Make a possitve stance instead of the negative one she has taken.
