How do I re-add a deleted friend on Facebook?

I deleted him because of a misunderstanding, and now we can not search each others’ profiles or add each other. It said that the step was irreversible when I deleted him. We are both friends again and want to add each other but there doesn’t seem to be a way. We are not on each-other’s block lists either, and neither of us want to make a completely new Facebook account just so we can be friends again.

I suggest you cut and paste your above message and email the Facebook help team. I just read through their Help section and it definitely isn’t covered there.

The deleted friend can not re-add you. You can re-add someone you delete though. You will not be able to find them using a search, so you have to add them by entering their email addresse.

click on “privacy” at the bottom of any facebook page.
go to “privacy options”
and click “remove” next to the persons name.

Now add him/her as you normally would.

wen i tried to re add some1 i just typed in 1 of their names so first name not surname on ordinary search and it came up with him!

If someone deletes you, its as though your blocked, even if you aren’t, and its up to the deleter to re-add you.
