I know what you meen though, it get’s annoying when the same person tells you to smile every day. There are some people who I wish would tell me to smile, but no, you only get told that by annoying people…oh well…

I wouldn’t bother. People tell me the same thing all the time. Not everyone is the same.

just tell her that you don’t want to smile and it’s not her place to make you

perhaps you should moon her.

There’s actually research that shows that forcing yourself to smile really does make you feel better. Your teacher is being nice to you.

Google it, Vince. It has gotten lots of media coverage. Easier yet, try it some day when you are feeling owly. Slap a great big grin on your face and hold it there for hours. You’ll feel like a silly arse at first, but after awhile you’ll discover your mood lightening up.

Not that I recommend doing this ALL the time–I’m just saying Jenna’s teacher is actually suggesting something that can be very beneficial.

Isn’t Jenna a terrific illustrator, by the way? I hope she goes on to art school … smiling!
