school help: My favorite author recently died. - Help.com

My favorite author recently died.

His pen name was Christoper S. Hyatt, PhD. I have read several of his books, some more than twenty times. I have had trouble getting copies of his out-of-print stuff. I have an autographed copy of one of his books. I got it at a bookstore where he was supposed to do a book signing but never showed up for it and dropped off the autographed copies in advance. For years I tried to meet him. He was very elusive. I found a website of his and thought there would be a chance. Now he is gone and I am very bummed. I not only dreamed of meeting him, but maybe more. He had a school of sorts and I was going to try to get in. Are there any other fans of his on this site?

I have never heard of him, but I have had similar experiences with many artists. The written word is a sacred thing. Let his influence shine through you and he will be eternal. He will forever be present in this world if enthusiasts of his work continue carrying on what he had originally began.

Whether what you do from now on has anything to do with any subject that he had written, his influence will be there whether you like it or not. Immortality exists whether you like it or not.

Don’t let it get you down or slow you down.
