My parents 30th Wedding Anniversary is coming up.

My brother and I would like to get them something meaningful - we are already getting their (reel to reel) wedding tape put on to DVD for them but would like to get them something in addition. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

Both of us work fulltime, so money isn’t a huge issue although I am guessing we’d like to spend around $100-$200 each.

have an old photo of them blown up and printed on canvas, and framed like a painting.
or a party with friends and family.

i used to know a studio photographer who did incredible portraits. he would touch up the photo in the program called painter, so that the background looked like a painting, but the subjects still looked photo-realistic. then he put a high-quality frame on them. all of the canvas printing was done by a company out of town. i’m sure a search engine can find a canvas printer, although the repainting work itself was pretty pricey.
