Please help me as I’m just confused these days.

I am 19 years old and my mind have absolutely changed after staying in US for a year on exchange program. My expectation from India have grown much higher. I have many option but can decide what to do next. I was flying small airplanes till 2 months back as I wanted to be a pilot but now I think that pilot is like a driver & I cant do samethingover & over again for rest of my life. My dad is insisting me to go to South part of India and he wants me to look after his hotel and business there - www.kumarakomlagoon.com . I want to go back to US but then I think that If I’ll go back to US then I wont be coming back to India coz by brother is in US and he will not come back to India. I dont want to go away from my parents as for Indian they are the first priority. I made a website www.igougoindia.com but I dont know how to generate traffic for it. I wish if someone could help me financially. I got the admission in a school of Sinfgapore but now the south India deal is sounding more tempting- at the same time I think I need a degree also. I’m just totaly confused please help me..

I think I will be going to South India - Open my dad’s company office there , manage his hotel and see how it goes. South India is coming up really fast I hope that decision turns out to be good BUT at the same time I always think of investing some money in US or into some other country so that I have something in other country also. :(

the us will still be there in the future, and if you help your dad you will have the title “hotel manager” which will look almost as good if not better than a degree with a potential employer!!!

Right. Well what do you think is more important; good work experience or Degree?

it depends on what job your going for and what degree you would chose to do!!
my younger sister is doing a degree in art but i know that she will struggle (like so many) to find a well paid job with an art degree!!!!

Well thats what my brother is trying to make me understand but sometimes I think that he is not trying to help me - he just try that I should not go to US as he is already in US from last 7 years. He got his bachelors from Augustana college , did his CPA & now doing his masters but he tell me that good work experience is what counts as still he is strugelling for job even with having degree. I made a website byspending like 4000$ (www.igougoindia.com) this is very useful website for Indian travellers but still I dont know what can I do about it. Before completing the website I used to get excited by thinking about after completing stage but now NOTHING is happening.

give it time!!!
maybe think about doing a aprentiship then you are working so gaining knowledg, and you can get a qulifacation at the end!! this is what my brother is doing and it looks much better to an employer than a degree, as you dont just have a qulifacation but you also have alot of experience!! its all about your personal choice and what it is you want to become!!!
