Well, its about a life experiences of a person naming Qudrat Ullah Shahab. He was a Civil servant.

This book cover the time when India and Pakistan was united and the days when Britishers were in rule in Indo-Pak sub continent.

And life after Pakistan came in to being.

This book also contains info. about the corruption and bribery acts in government offices.

He has highlighted many aspects of distiction on grounds of race and religion.

Inshort, its a wonderful book. I doubt if its in English version too.

Point is not to degrade some nation or bunch of people but its just a biography which has really happened in the past. And is part of history now.

I have read this book three times ,but i m still eager to have this book in my cupboard.Its a wonderful book,it helped me to learn alot about the governmental affairs .Whoever is interested to get some information about political issues must study this book.
