Why is he called GOD? Where did this possible name of “GOD” derive from?

I do know that the word ‘God’ and the word ‘good’ come from the same Anglo-Saxon origin. And when we say ‘Good-bye’ it’s a mangled version of the old ‘God be with you’ (it was originally ‘God-bye-you’).

The name God is just one name He goes by:

English:God

Hebrew:YHWH

He goes by other names in different language stoll to the bottom of the page.
