If a person is wanting to be an anesthesiologist - What is the degree?

Bachelor of Science and then Doctorate ????

Its a degree in Medicine i.e. I belive a doctorates, so you would be a Phd. And its in Anethesiology, or however its spelled. I think thats how it is.

If you’re going into college as a freshman and they ask what degree your majoring in what would you say bachelor of science?

Get an undergrad degree in science. Pre-medical would be the best, otherwise try biology, or something else related. Then you go into medical school. Then you do your residency, during which you specialize in aneasthesia.

you have to go to medical school.. what you do in undergrad just has to meet the requirements of the med school.. after med school you can be a fellow and then resident etc and become a specialist in anesthesiology

So first you need a B.S in a biology (pre-med) then another 4 years of Grad School. Then a few more years in residency. THEN special classes to become certified in Anesthesiology, and THEN board exams!
