ive got a pc that has an output of VGA, i want to be able to connect my pc to a hdtv, can it be possible?

ive tried an adaptor that goes from VGA to DVI, then from DVI to HDMI which my tv has, this didnt work. my tv has HDMI and scart. can anyone help?

what is a video card? does this just plug into my laptop? i dont reallp know what im doing if im honest. how much is it to do?

Sorry, I didn’t know you were talking about a laptop. I don’t know what you could use for that. VGA is an analog signal and HDMI is a digital signal, so you would need something that could also convert the signal.

ive looked into this, and the convertors are about £150, thats quite expensive considering i can get a new pc screen for that. im wondering if a pc screen i will have the same problem? do u know?

Just make sure it has a VGA connector. Most of them do, though.

Meh, I wouldn’t mess with doing that. You’re better off getting a DVD burner and burning everything, XD.
