Why is he contesting it?

Did you file no contest and then in his response did he note his reasons for contesting the divorce?

Men are jerks alot of times. He might be doing it just because he wants to be a jerk and is insecure about the whole thing. But frankly, the bast thinkg you could do is to get a good lawyer.

maybe your right, alimony, sell the house, pay for school, that would make a man stay with a woman who wants divorce,i must have missed something,as i didn’t realize they have been married for ten years, and they have a house, and she has no job or education, but i do know being a housewife is a hard job and its value is priceless.
